The Health Policy & Advocacy Committee

The Committee represents both NANN and NANNP. Its goals are to educate members about advocacy and the legislative process, increase awareness of critical issues and health policy decisions, and involve members in advocacy activities. The Committee develops and recommends an annual advocacy agenda to the association's Board of Directors. Throughout the year, the Committee monitors the association's priority health policy and advocacy issues, develops and maintains key alliances with other advocacy groups. The Committee uses a variety of communication vehicles to update members about advocacy issues and maintains an active advocacy group in MyNANN.
