NANN has identified advocacy as one of four major goals for the association. To make an impact on neonatal nursing practice regulation and policy and the health of neonates and their families, NANN will monitor progress on key issues and seek opportunities to work in coalition with other healthcare-related groups that share its ideals. Read about the initiatives that have an impact either on you as a nurse or on your patients and about ways that you can get involved in advocating for these initiatives.
NANN's Health Policy & Advocacy Committee is composed of 8 members, representing both NANN and NANNP. The Committee identifies and monitors health policy and advocacy issues, coordinates member advocacy activities, and educates members about and involves them in the advocacy process.
