Disaster Relief in Haiti

The National Association of Neonatal Nurses remains concerned about the recovery efforts in Haiti. NANN members continue to express a desire to help. The American Nursing Association is now coordinating efforts to register volunteers and to ensure the safety of providers on the ground in Haiti. Nurses can also pre‐register with a disaster registry or a response organization. These groups ensure that volunteers will have access to training and will be utilized according to the appropriate response plans.
