Earn Nursing Contact Hours from NANN!
Nursing contact hours are available from National Association of Neonatal Nurses (NANN) by attending NANN's Annual Conference or by completing self-study courses that are published in Advances in Neonatal Nursing: Official Journal of the National Association of Neonatal Nurses. Courses prior to January, 2007 are listed below. Courses after January- 2007 are available on the Advances in Neonatal Nursing Web site. Most journal self-study courses provide 1 contact hour and are a convenient, cost-effective method for obtaining contact hours instantly.For both members and nonmembers, there is a $15 nonrefundable testing fee for each self-study exam below. Please review the directions below before accessing the online exams.
NANN is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
Earning contact hours online is easy.
- Select and read the article(s) of your choice.
- Answer the assessment questions and submit them for grading. A score of 70% is required for successful completion.
- Complete the application form and evaluation.
- Register and make credit card payment ($15 per exam). If you do not wish to pay for your exam with a credit card, you may make advance arrangements to pay with PayPal. To do that, please call the Nurses Learning Network at 518/209-9540 from 9am-5pm, Monday through Friday. NOTE: A period of at least 24 business hours is required to process PayPal payments, so plan to do this at least 1 day before you plan to take your exam.
- Check your score, then press 'Click Here' on the Web site for the evaluation and your certificate. Please print your certificate. If you experience any problems with your certificate, please contact Nurses Learning Network at 518/209-9540 between 9am-5pm, Monday through Friday.
Please note: The self-study courses available online are the same courses that appear in the journal. If you have already received contact hours for a self-study course, please do not select the same course from the list below. You will not be able to use the same course twice for CE credit.
