 Education Standards for NNP Programs 

The NANN Education Standards for Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Programs define the minimum standards necessary for educating a neonatal nurse practitioner (NNP). The standards for NNP education are based on a foundation of the broad standards for advanced practice nursing (AACN 1996) and the evaluation criteria for nurse practitioner programs (NONPF 2002).
