Program Manager Neonatal Program
Demonstrating critical thinking skills in a
multidisciplinary environment, you will effectively and efficiently manage
inter-professional service delivery to women, babies and families. You will
recruit, evaluate and direct staff in a 57 bed unit, as well as develop and
oversee service delivery budgets for specific cost centres related to assigned
programs. Collaborating with the Vice President/designates and the Program
Management team, you will take part in strategic planning and implement
operational plans, policies and procedures. You will also collaborate with
Medical, Program Leaders and Professional Practice Leaders to monitor quality outcomes
and assist with accreditation/audit activities. Liaising with Learning and
Development, you will ensure appropriate education sessions and resources are
available for staff. In this leadership position, you will guide service
development and plan activities through work groups and projects.
Currently registered with the College of Registered
Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC), you have a degree in Nursing or a related
healthcare degree from an accredited University. As well, you have at least
seven years' recent related clinical experience, including two years' in a
managerial/leadership capacity and an understanding of quality assurance,
operational planning and program management. An equivalent combination of
education, training and experience will be considered. Your strong
communication skills complement your ability to effectively interact with
staff, patients and families.
