Obstetric Registered Nurse

Washakie Medical Center is a critical access hospital located in Worland, Wyoming, at the foot of the Big Horn Mountains. We provide a full array of inpatient and outpatient healthcare services including a Level III Trauma Center, state-of-the-art birthing suites and a specialty clinic providing a wide range of care by visiting physicians. We are currently looking for OB RN to join our dynamic team.

The OB RN will perform and implement all aspects of the nursing process in the delivery of patient care through assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the needs of the patient. The OB RN is responsible for identifying the educational needs of the patient and is accountable for ongoing evaluation re-assessment and documentation of all components of care delivered to patients and their families at Washakie Medical Center, including coordination and direct supervision of the daily routines.

Requirements:

  • Current Wyoming RN license
  • Basic Fetal Monitoring certification
  • NRP and BLS certification
  • ACLS and PALS certification within one year of hire

Perinatal Nurse Consultants:  Neonatal Focus OR Perinatal Focus

BC Perinatal Health Program - Vancouver, British Columbia

Reporting to the Provincial Director, British Columbia Perinatal Health Program, a program of the Provincial Health Services Authority, you will be part of a dynamic interdisciplinary team of perinatal/neonatal health care providers working to optimize neonatal, maternal and fetal health in the province. These positions will lead, coordinate or facilitate provincial and internal perinatal/neonatal committees to develop and advance best practices across individual programs and provincial perinatal/neonatal health systems. You will provide consultation, education, and dissemination of knowledge and health promotion by working with primary care providers, specialist clinicians, nursing colleagues, analysts, and health authority staff.

You must be able to teach, develop education material and workshops in order to deliver program initiatives.  The ideal applicants will be strong team players with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and possess demonstrated project management and teaching skills along with the ability to be organized. You have a Masters Degree in Nursing with a minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in perinatal/neonatal nursing in an acute care setting or an equivalent combination of skills and experience.  Midwifery experience is considered an asset.

Clinical Consultants Wanted

Neotech successfully introduced our new Clinical Consultant Program in 2006 and we’re expanding the program in 2008. Our current team of Consultants are a privileged group, hand selected for their unique skills and abilities.

Our objective is to have licensed professionals throughout the country who have the ability to teach other clinicians how to properly use Neotech products. This gives the consultant the opportunity to work from home, as needed, and travel locally to hospitals in their area. There is no SALES involved in the position; only teaching, educating and sharing experiences!

Areas in need:
Omaha, NE; Little Rock, AR; Jackson, MS; Washington, DC; Portland, OR; Seattle, WA; Boise, ID; North Carolina, South Carolina and Northern California (Bay Area), New York City.

Requirements: 
The Clinicians must be licensed or certified in their respective areas of expertise and have prior knowledge or experience using our products, specifically, the NeoBar ETT Holder. Prior experience in educating and/or training others on the use of medical devices is beneficial

Duties:
Schedule times for in-servicing, educate staff on the proper use and applications of our unique products.

Other Potential Duties:

  • Attend trade shows with Neotech and “work the booth” as needed
  • Attend one day seminars at hospitals as needed
  • Look for new product ideas while in the field
  • Provide Neotech with input on new products, existing products or competitive products
  • Undertake clinical investigations of new or existing products with the potential to publish or present the result in journals or at professional meetings

Compensation: Consultants will be generously compensated by the hour, including travel time.

ECMO Coordinator, Pediatric/Neonatal Care- New Orleans, LA

This is an opportunity for an outstanding professional to make a lasting impact. The successful candidate will play an integral role in shaping and advancing a vibrant, forward-directed ECMO program at the Tulane Hospital for Children. This position interacts with senior management and performs in collaboration with our Physician Director in the areas of data collection and reporting.

We seek an accomplished professional who is a strong, passionate communicator and leader. Credentials must reflect a proven ECMO background that includes pediatric/neonatal patients with cardiac disease, respiratory disease, surgical patients, and knowledge of continuous venovenous hemofiltration. Requirements also include Louisiana licensure (or eligibility) as an RN, RRT, or CCP; a bachelor’s degree; and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a pediatric and/or neonatal ICU setting (RN/RRT) or 5 years of experience in perfusion/ECMO.
