Want to be a part of the 8th Annual NANN Research Summit? Are you doing research in your NICU? Are you making a practice change in your NICU and evaluating the results? Have you considered submitting the results of your project to the NANN Research Summit Abstract Review Committee?
Join us for the next Research Summit in Scottsdale, Arizona, April 9-11, 2013 by submitting a research project or EBP change project or proposal that you have implemented or are planning to implement and evaluate by next spring. Only 20 selected individuals attend the fully-compensated summit each spring to present their research or practice change outcomes and discuss the process/results with other researchers from around the country and the world! With the support of an unrestricted educational grant from Mead Johnson Nutrition, NANN held its 7th Annual Research Summit March 27-29, 2012, in Scottsdale, AZ, at the Doubletree Paradise Valley Resort. The summit offered 20 neonatal nurses — with advanced practice degrees currently engaged in research or evidence-based practice projects — the opportunity to present their research or projects in a relaxed setting among peers. Each participant had 20 minutes for a presentation plus 10 minutes for questions and discussion. The keynote address, "Measurement Issues in Neonatal Research," was delivered by Debra Brandon, PhD RN CCNS FAAN, Associate Professor and Director of the PhD in Nursing Program at Duke University in Durham, NC.
Abstracts from the 2012 Summit will be available in the August issue of Advances in Neonatal Care.

This summit offered 18 neonatal nurses — with advanced practice degrees currently engaged in research or evidence-based practice projects — the opportunity to present their research or projects in a relaxed setting among peers. Each participant had 20 minutes for a presentation plus 10 minutes for questions and discussion. The keynote address, "Writing for Publication: The Path to Success," was presented by Donna Dowling, PhD RN CLC, associate professor of nursing at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH.
