NANN Supports Improving Care and Access to Nurses (ICAN) Act

NANN signed on to a letter along with 56 other members of the Nursing Community Coalition (NCC) thanking U.S House Nursing Caucus Co-Chairs for introducing the Improving Care and Access to Nurses (I CAN) Act (H.R. 8812ICAN Act). The letter explains that “The ICAN Act would remove outdated barriers in the Medicare and Medicaid programs that currently prevent APRNs from practicing to the full extent of their education and clinical training”.
