NANN research drives the practice of neonatal nursing. For this reason, NANN strives to provide avenues for members to become more active in accessing, understanding, conducting, and advancing research and evidence-based neonatal care.

A National Survey of Neonatal Nurses' Knowledge, Beliefs, and Practices of Antibiotic Stewardship
This survey is being conducted by NANN Member Maryam Hamidi.
Antibiotic use in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) has become commonplace and has had a significant impact on neonatal health outcomes. This national survey will examine neonatal nurse knowledge.
Genetics in the NICU
This survey is being conducted by NANN Member Tracie Dauwe.
The purpose of this study is to describe the perceived genetics knowledge of NICU nurses and to determine what further genetics education NICU nurses desire to support
their work with patients undergoing genetics evaluations.
